Hornet women compete at Blue Ridge Open

Boone, NC - The Lynchburg College women's cross country team competed today at the Blue Ridge Open XC meet, hosted by Appalachian State University. 

Senior Naomi Tice was the first LC runner to finish the 5k race with a time of 20:38. The next Hornet to finish was fellow senior Miriam Oweis, who ran a time of 21:17. Running the course in 21:28 was sophomore Lindsey Crill. The next Hornet to finish was junior Lauren Lacourciere who ran a time of 21:36 and rounding off the top five for the Hornets was sophomore Adrian Walker who completed the course in 22 minutes even.

The Hornets next competition will be the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championship Meet at Hampden-Sydney, VA at The Manor XC Course. The meet will take place on November 2, at 11 a.m.
