Hornet Women Place Third at ODAC XC Championships
PENN LAIRD, VA – The Lynchburg College women's cross country team placed third Saturday at the 10-team 2012 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Championship Meet, hosted by Eastern Mennonite University.
Washington & Lee University won the team title with 29 points, Bridgewater College came in second with 51 and LC had 85 points.
Senior Kiley Trennepohl placed seventh in 24:13 on the 6K course to earn first-team All-ODAC honors. Senior Ashley Saba took 12th in 24:43 and Leidy J. Arias Bernal was 17th in 25:03. Senior Suki Hoffman crossed the finish line in 21st in 25:21 and sophomore Jacqueline Graham was 28th in 26:07.
Bridgewater senior Olivia Mills won the individual title in 23:07.
The Hornets travel to Atlanta, GA on Saturday, November 10 for the South/Southeast Regional, hosted by Emory University.
