Kiley Trennepohl Earns All-Region Honors
Hornets Place 12th at Regionals
Seguin, TX – Lynchburg College junior Kiley Trennepohl placed 30th Saturday at the NCAA Division III Cross Country South/Southeast Regionals, hosted by Texas Lutheran University. The top 35 competitors, including Trennepohl, earn All-Region honors. The Hornet team placed 12th out of a 30-team field, with Emory University (GA) winning the regional team title. Rhodes was second, with 86 points, and Centre took third, with 92.
Trennepohl ran the 6k course in 24:22, followed by sophomore Naomi Tice in 72nd in 25:33. Ashley Saba took 83rd in 25:51, Krystal Foster was 111th in 26:33 and Jacqueline Graham finished 115th in 26:39.
Sophia Stone from Mary Baldwin won the individual title in 22:10, while Emory's Tess Gallegos was second in 22:15.
