LC Volleyball Takes Down Meredith in Three
LYNCHBURG, VA - Sophomore Rebecca Loftis Coventry, CT/Coventry) slammed eight kills as the Lynchburg College volleyball team defeated visiting Meredith College 25-12, 25-17, 25-21 Friday evening in non-conference play.
Rachel Huffman (Virginia Beach, VA/Bayside) had seven kills and two solo blocks, while Michelle Boucher (Chesapeake, VA/Nansemond Suffolk) had six kills. Brooke Moughon (Mathews, VA/Mathews) posted a team-best 17 assists and six digs and Jasmine Murphy (Shipman, VA/Nelson County) had 21 digs.
Lynchburg (13-8) travels to the University of Mary Washington Saturday at 2 p.m.
