Why did you choose Lynchburg College?
I chose Lynchburg College because I really liked that it was a nurturing and loving community. LC has also been able to help me excel academically.
What is your favorite moment thus far as a Hornet?
It's really hard to just pick one, but definitely last year's indoor season, when the women's 4x4 relay team won, and the whole team cheered along the side of the last turn on the track.
What are your expectations for the rest of the season?
I'm taking it one week at a time, I just need to make sure that I eat, sleep and breathe running to watch the times get faster.
What do you like most about LC track and field?
I love that we are all like a family. I am able to communicate with the team inside and outside of practice. We all care for each other, work hard and motivate on another. We spend so much time together and track is a long season, but we make the best of every situation.
What is your favorite class or teacher?
My favorite class is yoga, because I am able to focus before a hard workout.
What are your aspirations after graduation?
I have just completed all of my graduate school applications, so I am hoping for admittance into Howard University in Washington DC
What is your favorite thing about LC and this campus?
My favorite thing about LC campus is that you can recognize everyone, and it isn't awkward to give a little smile or say hello.
