Nasim Moadab Named Interim Tennis Coach at Lynchburg College

LYNCHBURG, VA – Nasim Moadab has been named the interim head men's and women's tennis coach at Lynchburg College for the 2013 spring season. Bruce Sibley announced his resignation for personal reasons in December after taking over the program in the fall of 2012.

Moadab helped the Hornet women's team post three more wins in 2012 than in 2011, including two in Old Dominion Athletic Conference matches.

Moadab arrived at LC in 2011 as a graduate assistant coach for both the men and women's teams. She attended Division I Longwood University where she played tennis for the Lancers for four years. She has previous coaching experience in private and individual lessons at Rivers Bend Country Club. Moadab is studying in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Lynchburg College and is a Colonial Heights, VA native.

The LC teams are slated to open the spring season Feb. 23 with a men's and women's doubleheader at home against Greensboro College.
