Singer nets Hat Trick as #13 Hornets Roll Over WildCats 12-0

LYNCHBURG, VA – The #13 Lynchburg College women's soccer team put forth a consistent scoring effort to roll past Randolph College 12-0 Wednesday in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) action.

The Hornets netted two goals in the first six minutes as Jade Woll found Dessi Dupuy for both tallies. Woll added a goal of her own three minutes later as her corner kick curled into the net.

Angela Bosco and Morgan Singer picked up goals to round out the first half scoring on assists by Jessie Gonzalez and Dupuy.

Singer tacked on her two remaining goals in the second half off an assist from Nicole Kopsidas. Her three goals match a season-high, two away from her career-high of five goals she set last season against Randolph.

Kopsidas, added a goal off an assist from Camille Bartley in the final period. Bosco, Marina Clark, Erin Benson, and Sarah Schrader rounded out the scoring for the Hornets in the second half. Kelley Smith and Clark picked up assists in the final period to go along with second assists from Bartley and Gonzalez.

Chloe Tong and Caitlin Annunziata each made a save for Randolph (4-14/1-11). Tess Frelick and Brooke Thompson collected a save each for the Hornets.

LC outshot the WildCats 39-4 while maintaining a 14-1 corner-kick advantage.

Lynchburg (18-1) wraps up the season with a perfect 12-0 record in conference play. The Hornets will serve as the #1 seed in the upcoming ODAC tournament set to start Saturday. Time for the quarterfinal is to be determined.
