Tricky, Tricky! Singer Lifts Hornets to 2-0 Record

Salem, VA – Sophomore Morgan Singer netted her second career hat trick while leading the #9 Lynchburg College women's soccer team to a 5-0 victory over Birmingham Southern College Sunday afternoon.

Angela Bosco collected a goal in back-to-back games to stake the Hornets to a 1-0 lead in the fourth minute off an assist from Mary Beier.

Singer would then take over, scoring on a breakaway in the 30th minute, blasting the ball past the keeper into the left side of the goal. The sophomore would continue to work the left side of the net, scoring both Hornet tallies in the second half from that location. Victoria Czenczek assisted on Singer's final goal for her first career point.
