Dynamic Duo of Bosco and Dupuy Send Away SU

LYNCHBURG, VA – The #12 ranked Lynchburg College women's soccer team got huge games from forwards Angela Bosco and Dessi Dupuy as the Hornets won 5-1 over Shenandoah University in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) play Saturday.

The junior, Bosco got on the board early, scoring nine minutes into the game after she took the ball away from a defender and hit the ball off the right post. The ball deflected behind the keeper, Nichole Pratt, and into the goal.

Bosco had a big impact on the next two goals as well, finding the sophomore Dupuy for goals both times.

LC added another goal up 3-1 just before the half as Bosco picked up her second goal on an assist from Kara Schaffer.

Dupuy added a third goal to collect another hat trick and put the game away for Lynchburg.

Harmon Hall scored a goal for Shenandoah (7-10-1/5-5-1). Pratt made five saves.

Audrey Moore and Karsen Schottleutner each made a save for the Hornets. Bosco ended with two goals and two assists. LC outshot Shenandoah 33-6 and had a 9-4 edge in corners.

Lynchburg (15-0-3/8-0-3) plays its last regular season game Wednesday night at Eastern Mennonite. Game time is 7 p.m.
