RALEIGH, NC – Sophomore Dessi Dupuy came back strong in her return for the #11 ranked Lynchburg College women's soccer team, scoring the first two goals in a 3-0 Hornet shutout over Meredith College on Wednesday night.

Dupuy scored her second goal of the season 12 minutes into the contest from an Angela Bosco assist. The junior, Bosco, assisted on the second Dupuy goal as well. Angela now has four assists on the season.

Freshman Morgan Singer scored her fifth goal of the season at the 79th minute, clinching the game for LC with 11 minutes to play. Dupuy contributed to that goal too, getting her first assist of the year.

The Hornets outshot Meredith 15-5. LC collected eight corner kicks as well, more than doubling up the Avenging Angels total of three.

Audrey Moore had four saves for the Hornets. Kelsey Hopper fended off ten shots in goal for Meredith.
