Hornet Women's Soccer to Host First and Second Rounds of NCAA Tournament

LYNCHBURG, VA –The Lynchburg College women soccer team will host first and second round games in the 2011 NCAA Division III Championship Tournament this weekend, announced Monday afternoon on NCAA.com.

The first two rounds begin Saturday, November 12 with the two winners playing Sunday at 5 p.m. The winning squad will advance to the round of 16. The Hornets play New Paltz (NY) while the other matchup features Rowan University (NJ) and Shenandoah University (VA).  Lynchburg will play in the first game at 5 p.m., with the second game starting at 7:30. 

Tickets are $6 for adults, $3 for students and seniors, $2 for children under 12. Lynchburg College students are free with valid ID

This year the NCAA Division III soccer program is available as a digital-only format, which is part of the NCAA's 'Green Initiative' to help the environment.  Fans will be able to access the program via a quick response (QR) barcode provided in the PDF file below.  Fans can also visit NCAA.com/DIIISoccer for more championship materials.  Game rosters will not be available at the site of competition.
