Sweet Briar Names Former Hornet Colleen Frickie as Head Athletic Trainer

Sweet Briar Athletic Director Kelly Morrison recently announced the appointment of Colleen Frickie as Head Athletic Trainer. "I am excited to announce that Colleen will be joining the team at Sweet Briar. Colleen will bring great energy and excitement to the training room," commented Morrison.
No stranger to the ODAC, Frickie completed her undergraduate work at Lynchburg College. While at Lynchburg, Frickie was a member of the Hornet Soccer program which traveled deep into NCAA postseason play three times during her career, including a Final Four appearance. Following Lynchburg, Frickie went on to complete her Master's degree in Athletic Training at California University of Pennsylvania and has also been certified as a Performance Exercise Specialist by the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
"Colleen is familiar with Sweet Briar and the ODAC conference. I believe that familiarity will serve her and our student-athletes well. We are looking forward to Colleen joining us in August when everyone arrives back on campus for the start of another great year."
