LC Women Tie Roanoke 0-0 in Double OT

            SALEM, VA - Despite holding a large advantage in shots, the Lynchburg College women's soccer team played to a double-overtime scoreless tie Wednesday evening at Roanoke College in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) play.

            The statistics were decidedly in the Hornets' favor, out-shooting the Maroons 22-3 with an 8-0 edge in corner kicks. Roanoke's Lindsay Kooiman kept her squad in the game with 12 stops. Jackie Bader (Fort Washington, MD/Bishop Ireton) made one save for LC.

            Roanoke, still atop the conference standings in points, is now 9-3-3 overall and 6-0-2 in ODAC competition. LC is 10-2-1 and 6-0-1.

            Lynchburg hosts Randolph College Saturday at 1 p.m. in more ODAC play.
