FOREST, VA –
Five Lynchburg College student-athletes were honored Monday with the release of the 2014 Women's Lacrosse All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Team.

Senior defender Brianna LaMarca was chosen to the all-conference first-team for the third-straight season. Often called upon to guard the opposition's top offensive threat, she was also a team captain. LaMarca led the team with 32 groundballs and was also the team leader with 33 caused turnovers.

Caroline Kilby and Katherine Francis both earned spots on the second team. Kilby, an attack, enjoyed a breakout season as a senior. She led the Hornets in goals (42), assists (18) and points (60). Kilby scored five goals in a game twice, once against Hollins University and the other against Guilford College. Francis, the top two-way player on the squad, netted 28 goals with six assists. She paced the team with 58 draw controls and also was second on the team with 13 caused turnovers.

Bri Slate and Grace Finnerty were selected to the All-ODAC third-team. Slate, a senior midfielder, scored 39 goals on the year and recorded 16 assists, both second on the team. Finnerty became an important part of the Hornet backline, starting all 16 games and picked up 31 groundballs, and added 16 draw controls and 17 caused turnovers.
