Susquehanna Defeats LC Women's Lax 19-11
BALTIMORE, MD – Sophomore midfielder Emma Ehler scored seven times Tuesday afternoon to lead the Susquehanna University women's lacrosse team to a 19-11 victory over Lynchburg College in a game played at Notre Dame (MD) College.
Freshman midfielder Katie Seidel scored a team-high four goals for LC, while Kendall Adkin found the back of the net three times. Lesley Buckingham scored two goals, and Julie Will had a goal, four draw controls and four groundballs. Bri Slate also scored for LC and Sarah Shannon corralled four draw controls.
Michelle McGinnis had four scores for the Crusaders (3-0) and Brynn Reid had three tallies.
The Hornets (1-1) are scheduled to face the Rochester Institute of Technology (NY) Wednesday evening at 6:15 p.m. in a game played at Edgewood High School.
