Assistant coach Audra Della Rosa finished her first year on staff for the Hornets in 2012. She returned to her alma mater one year removed from a stellar four-year playing career for head coach Dawn Simmons. An outfielder, Della Rosa helped the Hornets capture three Old Dominion Athletic Conference softball titles and earned second-team All-ODAC honors in 2008. She graduated from LC in 2010 with a degree in health and physical education and a minor in coaching.
Originally from Rhode Island, Della Rosa is pursuing a master’s degree in special education at LC.
