LC Softball Raises nearly $2,000 at Score for the Cure game

On Wednesday, April 16th, the Lynchburg College Softball team held its annual Score for the Cure game against Emory and Henry College.  Each year, the players raise money for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation, a foundation formed upon a promise to a dying sister to end breast cancer forever.

This year, the team raised money by collecting donations from family members and friends. The team also sold t-shirts to help raise money. The softball team raised a total of $1,962.18 for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure and they look forward to raising more money in 2015.
