Q&A With Hornet of the Week Ralph Davis
The Lynchburg College athletic department each week showcases a question and answer feature with our Hornet of the Week. The twelvth student-athlete in this series is track and field senior thrower Ralph Davis. The Herndon, Virginia native had two good performances Saturday at the Liberty University Kickoff. He placed fourth in the weight throw with a new personal-best heave of 52'2" and was ninth in the shot put (45'6 ¼").
Why did you choose Lynchburg College?
I chose Lynchburg College because of the friendly atmosphere.
What are your expectations for the season?
My expectations are to throw the weight 60 feet.
What do you like most about LC track and field?
I like LC Track and Field because of the high expectations. Our throwing motto is 'One heart, one beat, one purpose'.
What is your favorite class or teacher?
My favorite teachers would have to be Professor Kelbaugh (Business Administration), or Scott Robert.
