LC Men's Tennis Defeats Bluefield 7-2

LYNCHBURG, VA –
The Lynchburg College men's tennis faced off against Bluefield College in a non-conference matchup on Saturday and won 7-2.

Juniors Derek Kegerreis and Cody Crampton teamed up to win 8-6 at #1 doubles, while sophomore Matt Karvelas and freshman Christian Golden won 8-1 at #2 doubles. Junior Owen Landon and freshman Mark Vines won by default at #3 doubles.

Karvelas captured #1 singles by winning 6-1, 6-1 and Kegerreis won 6-3, 6-1 at #2 singles.  Crampton won 6-1, 6-4 at #3 singles.  Vines won at #6 singles by default.

The Hornet men (1-4) will be back in action on Saturday, March 3 when they will travel to Sweet Briar to face off against John Carroll in a non-conference matchup.
