LYNCHBURG, VA - The Lynchburg College men's tennis team goes into the 2010 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Tournament this Friday as the No. 7 seed, as it will battle No. 2 seed and host Washington & Lee University at 2 p.m.

The Hornets have been playing well of late, winning three of their last six matches with a pair of them coming against conference opponents. The men have been led by freshman Dustin Dull (Clifton, VA/Centerville), who has a 9-3 record this season in singles. Dull is a very consistent player, with the ability to run down just about everything on the court.

Junior Brandon Brown (Lynchburg, VA/Heritage) has done well this year, winning four matches at No. 2 singles, while partnering with Brian Nelson (Charlotte, NC/Home schooled) for the team's best doubles mark at 7-6 in the No. 2 pairs spot. Nelson is second on the team in singles wins as well, taking five matches this campaign, playing mostly at the No. 4 spot.

Senior Nicholas Carroll (Atlanta, GA/Holy Innocents) has also faired well in singles, posting an even 5-5 mark this year playing anywhere from No. 3 to No. 6 singles, while newcomer Brandon Hall (Sterling, VA/Dominion) is a dynamic freshman with playmaking ability. Hall is 4-7 on the season, but has been competitive in all of his matches. LC's No. 1 Kristian Richardson (Trenton, NJ/Princeton School of Huns) has a pair of wins this year, and will look to finish his career in style with an upset Friday.

Also look for Robert Martin (Madison Heights, VA/Amherst) to make a strong contribution in doubles, as he has captured six wins in pairs competition this season.
