Lynchburg Men's Soccer Releases 2012 Schedule

LYNCHBURG, VA – The Lynchburg College men's soccer team released its 2012 schedule on Friday.  LC's season kicks off on September 1 against NCAA third-round participant Neumann University at the Roanoke College Tournament at 2:30 p.m.

Lynchburg will return home the following weekend for the Shellenberger Memorial Classic, which features four games in two days.  The Hornets will take on Franklin and Marshall College at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday and Greensboro College at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday.

LC faces three other NCAA tournament entrants in 2012.  Lynchburg plays Salisbury University in a neutral game at 4:00 p.m. on September 12 and hosts Christopher Newport University one week later at 7:00 p.m.  The marquee match-up comes on September 26 at NCAA third-round competitor, Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) foe, and cross-town rival Randolph College.  The rematch of the ODAC championship game starts at 7:00 p.m.
