2014 Stats

2014 All-ODAC Third-Team

2014: Short-stick specialist did a little bit of everything for the Hornets…was a ground ball machine in his role on the wing and as a defensive middie, picking up 71 on the year, which led the team…had seven GBs and one caused turnover in important midseason victory over SUNY-Cortland…also helped on the offensive end, scoring eight goals while tallying four assists, including a goal and an assist in the NCAA tourney win over Sewanee…very tough and athletic midfielder will be difficult to replace, as he was a short-stick All-ODAC Third-Teamer in a spot usually reserved for faceoff men.

2013: Came back after missing previous year due to injury…very athletic and powerful midfielder who spent time as both a first-line midfielder and a D-middie…scored 10 goals and had one assist…scooped up 40 groundballs and registered seven caused turnovers…played a little on the wing during face-offs…coaches will expect more of him in his junior year.

2012: Missed season due to injury.

2011: Freshman appeared in 13 games…Scored two goals and had five groundballs.

Before LC: Won three letters in lacrosse and two letters in football… was a three year starter for the Quince Orchard Cougars… was an All-American, All-gazette, and all-county honoree.

Personal: Son of Daniel Hower and Cindy Matter...marketing and business minor.
