LC Men's Lacrosse to Host Denison Saturday at 7 p.m. in NCAA Second Round

LYNCHBURG, VA – The Lynchburg College men's lacrosse team will begin the 2012 NCAA Division III Tournament at home Saturday at 7 p.m. against visiting Denison University.

Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for students and $2 for senior citizens and children under the age of 12.  Lynchburg College students will gain admission for free with a current and valid LC ID.

Lynchburg enters the tournament having won 16 straight games, including a 10-4 victory over Washington & Lee University Sunday afternoon in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference title game.  The Hornets have reached the NCAA Tournament six times, the last in 2008.  Denison defeated Adrian College 12-11 on Wednesday in double-overtime to reach the second round.

The NCAA Title Game is scheduled for Sunday, May 27 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA.
