Hornet Lacrosse Faces Division I UVA
The Lynchburg College men's lacrosse team hosted the University of Virginia on October 6, 2011 in a scrimmage game. The Hornets battled the defending Division I national champion Cavaliers the entire game, losing just 13-9. The Hornets led 7-6 at halftime, Max Voumard scored twice and Ben Sauer had two assists for LC, while Franc Cook had 13 saves. Mark Cockerton paced UVA with five scores and three assists.
