2012: Made his biggest impact in his final year in the program…was named first-team All-ODAC as a face-off specialist after winning 60% of his attempts this year…finished in the top 10 in career winning percentage for Lynchburg…leader will be missed at the ‘X’ after corralling 85 groundballs on the year.
2011: Appeared in 15 games for the Hornets…Won 53 percent of face-offs, winning 37 of 70…Recovered 18 groundballs and caused two turnovers.
2010: Played in 15 games for the Hornets with one start…corralled 32 groundballs…won 54% of his 127 faceoff attempts.
2009: Played in 15 games with five starts . . . won 39 face-offs and controlled 20 ground balls.
Before LC: Won four varsity letters and started for four years. . . had 31 goals, 10 assists, 166 groundballs, and 34 turnovers his senior year. . . also played ice hockey for four years and gained four letters.
Personal: The son of Michael and Brenda Jernack.
