Consistent Tournament places Hornets in Second at Glenn Heath Memorial

WILLIAMSBURG, VA – The Lynchburg College golf team had another strong showing in the final day of the Glenn Heath Memorial, shooting a 309 to give the Hornets a two-day total of 617,  missing first place by just one stroke.

Colby Francis led LC on day two with a 75, giving him a seven-over par 149, good for third place. Matt Lipscomb finished in ninth with a 77 in round two, while Santiago Anguera posted a 78 while finishing in 15th. Chad Wisecarver and Ned Jensen rounded out the Lynchburg lineup, carding a 79 and 84 respectively on day two.

SUNY Delhi won the Memorial with a 616 after shooting 305 on day two. Apprentice School rounded out the top three with a 632 two-day total.

Robert Ehrhardt of Wesley College won the individual tournament with a two-under 140.

Lynchburg will compete in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Championship at Bay Creek Resort & Club from April 21-23.
