Hornet Golf Team Wins LC Invitational
FOREST, VA – The Lynchburg College golf team took home the hardware Monday, capturing the team trophy at the two-day LC Invitational, hosted at London Downs Golf Club.
Colby Francis again had the top score for LC, shooting an 81 Monday and a 161 overall for the two rounds. Santiago Anguera fired an 82 Monday, Chad Wisecarver had an 86 while Matthew Lipscomb had a 92. Andy Craig rounded out the LC five with a 93.
Jacob Mast from Liberty University was the individual medalist, shooting a two-day score of 155, edging out teammate B.J. Kuhn (157). LC had a team score of 674 and Eastern Mennonite University took second with 676.
Lynchburg is back in action this weekend at the Camp Lejeune Invitational (NC) Friday-Sunday.
