LC Golf Takes Seventh at HSC Invitational

FARMVILLE, VA – The Lynchburg College golf team took seventh place Tuesday at the two-day Hampden-Sydney College Invitational, played at the Manor Golf Club.

Freshman Colby Francis shot a 79 Tuesday to finish with a 161 overall to tie for 11th place. Senior Matthew Lipscomb fired an 82 Tuesday to tie for 20^th overall and Chad Wisecarver carded a 79 to tie Ned Jensen with 171 overall. Scott Stevens shot a 94 Tuesday.

Hampden-Sydney won the team title with a score of 610 strokes. Scott Wakely from Bridgewater College won the individual title with a two-day score of 146. 

The Hornets compete at the VSGA Intercollegiate at the Danville Golf Club.
