LC Men's Golf Earns Two Honors on All-ODAC teams

FOREST, VA – Two Lynchburg College athletes were honored with the release of the 2011-12 All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference Golf Team this week.

Senior Conrad Anguera received second-team all-conference honors.  He averaged 79.4 strokes in 12 rounds of play this season. He tied for first to lead the Hornets to a first-place finish in the Glenn Heath Shipbuilders Memorial Tournament.

Junior Matt Lipscomb earned third-team honors. He averaged 76.7 strokes in 13 rounds this season. Lipscomb helped Lynchburg finish second in the Lynchburg Invitational Tournament placing third.

The ODAC Player of the Year was Noah Ratner from Guilford and the Coach of the Year Corey Maggard Guilford. The ODAC Rookie of the Year was Kyle Fuller from Randolph-Macon.  Adam Skaff and Brandon Ketron from Roanoke College earned the Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar Athlete and the Ted Keller Sportsmanship Award.
