Lynchburg in Second After Day One of LC Invite

FOREST, VA – The Lynchburg College golf team sits in second place after one round Sunday at the two-day Lynchburg College Invitational, hosted at London Downs Golf Course. Ferrum College leads with a team score of 329, with LC close behind with 333.

Junior Matthew Lipscomb paced the Hornets with an 80, fourth overall. Dusty Scott fired an 82, Patrick Franklin shot an 84 and Ned Jensen carded an 87. Chad Wisecarver finished the day with a 96.

The invitational will conclude tomorrow.
