Hornets Finish Play at O'Briant-Jensen Memorial
GREENSBORO, NC – The Lynchburg College golf team finished in 15th-place after two rounds of play at the two-day O'Briant-Jensen Memorial at the Cardinal Golf and Country Club, hosted by Guilford College.
The Quakers won the team trophy with a score of score of 294 in an event that features some of the top Division III teams in the nation. Matthew Lipscomb paced the Hornets with a 77 each day to finish with a 154 to tie for 20th-place overall. Dusty Scott fired a 79 Tuesday to finish second on the team overall with a 170 and Chad Wisecarver scored a 173. Patrick Franklin carded a 178 for two days and Conrad Anguera ended with a 183.
The Memorial concludes the Hornets' fall season.
