LC Golfers Compete at O'Briant-Jensen Memorial
GREENSBORO, NC – The Lynchburg College golf team sits in 14th-place Monday after one round of play at the two-day O'Briant-Jensen Memorial at the Cardinal Golf and Country Club, hosted by Guilford College.
The Quakers lead after the first day with a team score of 294 in an event that features some of the top Division III teams in the nation. Matthew Lipscomb paced the Hornets with a 77 on the par-70, 7,002 yard course. Chad Wisecarver fired an 83, Conrad Anguera carded an 84 and Patrick Franklin finished with an 88. Dusty Scott rounded out the LC five with a 91.
The Memorial concludes Tuesday and will mark the end of the Hornets' fall season.
