The Hornets still claimed a 62-51 advantage with 5:57 on the game clock before the Generals rallied and cut into the deficit. Following a pair of Hornet misses, W&L had a chance to take the lead in the final 10 seconds trailing by just one point, but missed a deep three-pointer and LC senior forward Mike Glover snared the rebound and the Hornets were able to run out the clock.

Glover paced a balance LC scoring attack with a team-high 10 points and also grabbed seven rebounds. Senior big men Austin Chillemi and Michael Wims each had nine points and eight rebounds, while senior Brandan Connor had nine points and seven caroms.
