Joe Rogers Named to National Team of the Week

LYNCHBURG, VA- Junior Joe Rogers was named to the D3baseball.com National Team of the Week for the week of February 17-23 based on his performances over the weekend.

Rogers had a weekend for the Lynchburg College record books. Not only did Rogers drive in 10 runs over the course of the weekend, he approached the school record with eight RBI in one game. He went 4-for-4 in game two against Oneonta State with three triples, a double, and the record-setting RBI total. Overall Rogers batted .545 (6-for-11).

His big nightcap against Oneonta moves Rogers into first place in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference in triples (3). He is second in the league in RBI (13), and seventh in steals (3).
