Hornet Baseball Team Celebrates Halloween With Costume Scrimmage

LYNCHBURG, VA – The Lynchburg College baseball team celebrated Halloween this year with an inter-squad scrimmage on Fox Field Wednesday afternoon. The unique part was that the Hornet players and coaches dressed and played in Halloween costumes.

Hornet sophomore hurler Brandon Miller served as the PA announcer for the game, mimicking Will Ferrell's Harry Carry imitation on Saturday Night Live. Many interesting costumes were seen: including the tooth fairy, an Amish farmer, a chicken and Tim McGraw. A few Lynchburg College-related themes were on hand as well, including LC Strength and Conditioning Coach Steve Smith and former LC student-athlete and assistant coach Kyle Bradley 20 years in the future, played by head coach Percy Abell.
