February Minutes

Executive Board:

            Discussed Miller home again as a possibility for service! SAAC reps have expressed interest to Coach Stanley since the last meeting and were disappointed the idea did not pass.  Phil (President) plans to discuss helping out with gifts for Gulu at the meeting.  Special Olympics is also on the agenda.

Regular Meeting:

            Coach Stanley brought Miller Home project backup for discussion.  Reps decided to go back to teams and ask for donations (at least $1/member) towards the project.  Next meeting is scheduled for March 20.  Reps are to bring money collected by athletic office and give to Coach Stanley no later than Monday, March 14.  After money has been collected, she discuss project with Miller Home.  The number of rooms we will decorate depends on amount of money we have.  Updates and details will be discussed at the following meeting.  Coach Stanley will take representatives to Miller home when she looks at possible rooms to decorate.

Special Olympics

 Reps are talking to teams to get additional volunteers to participate.  Will bring list of names to March Meeting.  Then we will contact ASA with names of volunteers. 

College Lake

 Phil talked to Bev Pfluger.  They are not dredging the lake this year.  

Gift for Gulu

 Reps discussed and decided to volunteer for Anna’s Run on March 1^st.  The other Gulu Run falls over spring break.  Volunteers will help people at check points.  Phil will check with Coach Olsen for details.
