ODAC Saturday Tournament Game Times Set

LYNCHBURG, VA – Game times have been set for Saturday as four Lynchburg College athletic teams look to bring home Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) titles.

Action begins on the College’s Shellenberger Field as the third-ranked LC field hockey team hosts Randolph-Macon College at 1 p.m. The Hornets look to earn their sixth-straight conference crown in a rematch of last fall’s title game, won by LC 2-0.

The LC women’s soccer team also has a rematch as the Hornets look to repeat as ODAC Champions. The Hornets, ranked #12 in this week’s NCAA Division III poll, face Virginia Wesleyan College at 4:30 p.m. Lynchburg won the ODAC title last season in a double overtime shootout with the Marlins on Shellenberger Field. 

Two other teams don’t have to travel very far to challenge for ODAC titles. Lynchburg’s volleyball team competes in Lexington, VA in the semifinals Saturday at 12:30 p.m. against Randolph-Macon College. The winner of that match advances to the title game at 5 p.m., also at Washington & Lee University.

The Hornet men’s soccer team looks for its third-straight ODAC title in a battle at cross-town rival Randolph College at 7 p.m. LC looks to avenge a 2-1 overtime loss to the WildCats earlier in the season.

Each ODAC title winner automatically qualifies for competition in the NCAA Division III Tournament.
